Can I get laid off while there is still money for severance? The way things have been going, I'm scared that soon we'll start hearing that GE has decided not to offer them anymore.
After all, it's not something that is mandated by law (at least I think so,) so if they can save more money like that...I'm sure they'll jump at the opportunity sooner or later.
