The State Farm propaganda video of ECRM doesn't show any externals despite over half of ECRM being external. What would our customers think if they knew that when they buy State Farm insurance they help drive down wages of Americans? When you support State Farm you are letting your money leave America

1 year as external, 19 years as internal. I have worked with my leadership to hire 3 strong externals over the years.
Yes, there are tons of new Indians at Corp South and it's rough with internals with QTDs wandering the halls depressed to see them. Unfortunately internals with QTDs that I know lack the skills of the external software developers coming in by the thousands
Got news for you....from experience in Agency for 21 years. Customers don't give a rat's behind about the wages or commissions SF associates make. They just want a low premium, and most of them think that all of our expenses are just "the cost of doing business" and should have no bearing on the price they pay. I know this because hardly a day goes by where somebody doesn't tell me exactly that. It's ignorant--but that's how they feel.
Too funny. Most companies use externals
to fill skill gaps. Many are locals.
All who worked with me were Americans let go when their roles were absorbed.
The expense is less. Policyholders leave for lower premiums. Using externals lowers premiums. No benefits, no pension etc.
Thousands of externals are gone.
Because many Americans do not have the skills required to maintain the systems.
Colleges are creating young people with inadequate technical skills, a dependence on “cloud”, a “sharing and liking” lifestyle that precludes privacy.
They are nice people - but for the most part they could not tell a BNC from a RJ45 8P8C or UNC from UDP but yet will tantrum when you suggest they could learn.
Why not just hire Americans for the jobs that need to be done?
They told y'all for like 6 years what was coming and gave ample time for re-skill. If you sat on your hands and got cut, that's on you, not "The Externals"
I was an external for 13 years before highering in as an internal. I was born in Bloomington in the early 60's.
What makes you assume that external assosciates are not American?
Maybe it's time we found out. Spread the word.
