Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Is no severance the next step for Humana?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised one bit if we soon found out that the next round of layoffs will not have severance package attached to it.

It's happening to others already. Just look at Molina. They saw their severance reduced until none was offered at all in the latest round.

It's not illegal, it's just immoral. Do you see those on top caring about the immoral part?

Yes, unrealistic is for sure, so going to reshare this here: Today I learned: If you're SNP and you have days where you call all day and no one answers you are still required to meet metrics. And if you stay late the next day to meet them (and keep in complaince), anything after COB will not count towards your metrics. While we dont get written up, we wont qualify for bonus or raises. Its how they keep us down.

Telling you they are making unrealistic expectations and when you don’t make metrics and no overtime they are doing corrective action plans and making people quit or fired with them covering their asses so not to have to pay unemployment. Making it a performance issue and you are reason gone

I hear numerous law suits against Humana from past staff and from members. Also you get severance you can’t be part of any legal action or loose severance and pay back any gotten already.

They are still hiring and when I was hit in RIF they were hiring for my position, my location and exact title! Yet I got RIF????

Actually a blessing... my health better both physically and mentally. Better pay, benefits and company
