When I get a new job, it will not be P&C claims. The trend will continue to be to use and abuse claims employees. Who can keep doing a job where the customers and the employer abuse you all day every day? It’s not worth it.
Oh that’s nice then. Sorry for the confusion.
I gave my notice last fall and was paid in full for the 2 weeks. My PTO was not used and I was able to cash it out when I left. Leaving was the best thing I have done for myself in a long time.
In September 2016, I gave my notice that I was going to a competitor. I got the "mandatory two week paid vacation" and it did not cost me any PTO — I was still paid for all my unused PTO. I'm not sure whether it's different now.
Keep in mind it’s your PTO they use for that just an FYI l
