Got job offer but I’m a membership team leader now for 5 years. I’m on the cuff. It’s getting harder and harder to sign anyone up in field. Do you think our position is still in jeopardy. Anyone hear anything new?

As far as Membership Teamleads, We are safe till next round. Uuugghhh.
Totally agree the new managers are arrogant rude and unprofessional. The only way out is to get out and move on. When they pulled this last round of BS out with the old and in with the younger generation BIG MISTAKE.
I say take the new job! I've been with the company for 25+ years and I have never seen such blatant lack of "respect for the individual"! We used to have culture, we used to even have fun at work! Now when you give 110% it's not good enough and they want 150% or....they just give you the work the slackers didn't get to! Yet those slackers will get the same 2% raise as I do despite others doing an easy 50% of their undone or poorly done work. This new leadership team is ruining our company!
Has anyone looked on the wire under membership. The Sept events are no longer there, you have to click on them to see what I'm talking about. Also my Coordinator had all her drives keyed on salespro for the month of September. Now they have been wiped out. When she tries to re enter those sept drives it will not let her it gives system failed error. Go figure, writing is on the wall
Uq3vDOc-1olj Mayybe what you meant to say is the position is useless. I have been in this position for a long time and well admit over the last 2 yrs it has been useless. I find other things to do. If I don't have a drive or appt. BTW. I don't have a coordinator and the GM doesn't plan on opening the position. Its been this way over a year. So to the orginal post. Take the other position.

It doesn't matter if they opened any position recently. Nobody is ever safe. They can still pull the blanket from under you tomorrow. I've seen them do it several times. Don't trust this company for anything. If I were you I'd take the new position.
It’s so they can eliminate you once they announce your useless.
They are filling it. It came from our market manager to fill both marketing postions.
They can open a rec for MTL doesn't mean they have to fill it.
Same here it’s getting a lot harder to get anything now. I truly believe that the company is doing this on purpose, trying to eliminate the position without firing everyone.
I dont know how they can keep marketing much longer. They do not need a MTL and a Coordinator to do the job of one person. Online offers are much better. Taking away the $10 gift card for renewals is going to hurt in field. People would actually rather have that gift card than the discounts. Just waiting it out!
I’m doing the exact same thing. I’ve always been a very hard worker and love what I do but the company has made it this way and now they have to pay the price. Stay strong and stay true to your words.
Our club just announced today that they are opening the team lead in marketing postion. We have not had one in 2 years so I would think you would be safe.
What store you work at
