Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

This company has no integrity

If you’re seasoned and knowledgeable, you’re let go. An excellent work product means nothing. If you’re young and mobile, but know absoluely nothing, you’re promoted. If you’re a total dullard but willing to be a sweatshop boss, you might have a real future.

The day I handed in my resignation I held my head a little higher. There is life outside! Not the same company at all.

OMG! Well Said. I was let go in April! I’ve been with the company for 17 years! I have never been in trouble, have great EPRs, I have my ACLA & ACLS. Was working on AIC when let go. They tried to pull this c-ap that I had messed with my time card. First of all, I am in no way computer literated. Before the badged in machine came, I had one of the young, newbies help me with it. I have never touched it. THEN they denied me unemployment. This company is NOT the same company that I loved to work for. I heard they got rid of the points system today... totally BS.

Since I’ve been gone, my BP has gone down, my features look less stressed, and my anxiety is less and less each day!

No wonder they are losing good loyal employees by either them leaving the company or finding ways to terminate them. My last boss would always say that we are replaceable.

Yep, replace us seasonal/experience workers with someone young and cheaper.

After I was let go, I cancelled my policies with them and moved them to another competitor.

Like a good neighbor, SF is NOT there.
