I have heard through a very good source Market Managers are being restructured positions rethought. Always a scary term around this Company. There are also more Closings coming as Sam’s right sizes for the future is no longer competitive in the NE Ops w Costco and BJ’s . Not Rumor friends ,
just facts from a very reliable source . Knew of the Closings last year this time. Not good.
Is it the Market Manager or MAPM who is the problem , call Ethics they must investigate. That said MM are a major problem as are the Market Teams if this team is like others call them out. Silence accepts it.
They need to get rid of many MM. What good are they? They act like bullies that sit on a high throne. HO shows up so much that MM shouldn't have to make any visits. Our LP in market 57 Arizona is such a bully and nobody does anything about it. I'm so done with this company.
The closings are absolutely going to happen. The direction the world is going in, it's the only chance Sam's has to stay afloat.
lets not leave out scan and go ..its crucial our club make it to 10% by oct so they can install all of the self checkouts ..lets face it they do not want to pay assoc to take care of the member ..one question if everybody is using scan and go and self checkouts how are they going to get the almighty upgrade and credit apps
Yes, closings are a must . Have You noticed all the push for on line shopping in the event flyers they mail out .... push is on line . That’s the way the Company is headed and it’s a must if they want to stay a float. Paid membership clubs are a thing of the past
