Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

BUSINESS OFFICES

Have any of the business offices been hit with big layoffs yet? We have lost our GM, now we are losing our IT guys. Our systems are staying a mess. Before the merger we ran like clockwork. Rarely had any customer complaints in our office. Orders were completed by our business techs on time and when they were going to be issues the tech would communicate with the customer and all was good. Now communication has fallen to the wayside. Our customers are escalating orders daily. Orders are being pushed out 2-4wks due to staffing problems in the field, no techs available to do the work (NOT THEIR FAULT)! Customer's are furious! Again, we never had these problems BEFORE the merger! Now all we are getting is disconnects, complaints and escalations! What does that say about the new company? Nothing good I'm afraid! Sure stock holders may be lining their pockets now but what's going to happen when all these company's go elsewhere to get better service that we can't provide anymore? They are use to being taken care of not thrown to the side and got to later. Someone better get their priorities straight or no one will have a job! I'm looking for the business offices to start closing any time now. Who will be the first to go???

Love NIBS, hate Ensemble. Not familiar with MAX. But what I mostly hate is dealing with unhappy customers! This company no longer cares about its employees much less its customers. And now if they offer you a job with less pay, with in 50mi of your current location even with a contractor and you refuse then you dont get your severance package. That is Dirty. But worse is they are looking for reasons to terminate. Horrible company to work for! What happened to us? I'll be happy if they offer me a package!

I wish they would offer me a package. You think you guys working in MAX have problems? Try working in MAX and NIBS at the same time! Makes for some LONG days.

SRO told us the SROs are tracking the losses since max but won't tell us if it's under orders from above or to satisfy their own curiosity.
