What a total boneheaded LE is to have fired KB and kept MH! KB totally kicking a-- at SFDC, oracle sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Stupid is as stupid does!

Like in most of Oracle, people who know what they are doing are not valued.
The management wants yes-men only. They should just put that on their job reqs.
No one who is not a "yes-man" need apply.
Down, down, down the drain it all goes. Avoidance of reality gone supernova.
Wait, if we acquired Salesforce, wouldn't that mean we'd be using AWS for our cloud infrastructure?
KB said, correctly, that acquiring Sun was a huge mistake, and he did so publicly. This caused a clash with LE. KB did not want to work for a hardware company. Everyone said what a fool LE was for buying Sun, and they were right ... now, it's billions recent of dollars spent on hardware R&D down the drain. What if LE had acquired Salesforce? (he was one of the founders) Oracle would be a leader in SaaS now. Instead, LE was inspired by Steve Jobs and thought he could build the iPhone of enterprise database machines.
It's not that KB has the perfect job now. Co-CEO arrangements aren't working at Oracle and usually don't work elsewhere. Salesforce stock price has nearly doubled over the past year. It will be very difficult to match that in the upcoming year, and expectations for continued growth are very high.
I have been in customer meetings with both KBand MH. Keith is in a different class to MH. Most customers I worked with thought MH was a glorified used car salesman/ clown and asked us not to bring him back for “executive meetings”
Guess Benioff got many times the ROI Larry did in his investment vs. MH who has delivered nothing.
KB is a much better CEO than SC or MH. It's not even close. KB knows how to grow companies and SC and MH know how to kill them.

Who is KB?
Yep. I agree. I was in KB's org for years. It's a shame.
