You may be receiving a letter to verify spousal or domestic partner benefit. Check email or postal mail over the next few weeks. You have to fax a 1040 (first page) or bank statement that shows both names for the same address. Black out SSN and other financial info before sending. They only give you a couple weeks to either fax or download the documents using your phone/fax/mail otherwise spousal health benefits are cancelled. Also, when I tried to log into 88 Sears it said it did not recognize me so I had to re-establish a new user ID and password even though the old one worked last week. Same for the Pension web site. It appears Sears is using a new benefit admin. Read everything they send you carefully and follow up on their web site 3 to 5 days after sending documentation to insure it was processed.

I was laid off in 2017 and I got a letter from the audit dept of unemployment yesterday saying they want my severance $$ back because I didn't work those hours
I would love to see them try that on me even though I never called out a shift working for them

The HR reps not there til 7 ct . There til 6 et. They cat get anything right
On the website it states HR reps available to 7 CT. When you call it tells you to call before 6 ET.
There several ways to show proof. Just mail it to them. Yes they will lose it. This is the stupidest thing ever. They made it confusing and difficult. Property tax receipt ? How is that proof ? I can co-own property with anyone. That doesn't make them a dependent.
I have to do this too even though I am still employed by Kmart. Was let go last year but came back to a different position just as my severance pay ended.
