Cut from the Top

I’ve been a Store Manager for two years now. Can I admit that I don’t know who our corporate leaders are? I honestly thought Larry Merlo was the founder and was dead for years. (Surprise!) Attempting to educate myself, I looked at the HQ website. Why the heck do we have 16 Executive Vice Presidents, 8 Senior Vice Presidents, 2 Vice Presidents and a CEO? Cut the fat from the top. The $155 Billion you save from their salaries will pay for Aetna, give everyone at the store level raises, give us new technology, and give stores hours back to help customers.

CVS wants to lead people on their path to better health. To do so well takes time. And time is the one thing they keep taking away from us. Give time back and you’ll see dramatic gains.

Larry's bonus alone could run a small country for years. Long timers don't get raises due to these a-- clowns at the top and their salaries/bonus. Is $is 17.00 an hour really too much for someone who has dedicated over half their life to CVS?

Gary hasn't set foot in a store in 40 years.

I don't think Larry even shops at CVS.

Technology s---s at the store level. It's ancient. I remember using the exact systems we use when I started retail 20 years ago. Yeah you have Ironman's, but those have their own issues as well. The people at the top make too much money, stores need more hours in order to operate correctly.....not like my store that wants me to schedule 35 hours in a 24 hour store in order to be optimized one day out of the week 😑 DL can't even come up with a solution to that.

I think you meant to say Gary...who the check is Larry? Next time go on the Macy's website to see our leaders.

I thought Larry was dead too!
