Thread regarding ADP layoffs

I find it interesting...

I was laid off earlier this year from ADP. In the last 2 weeks I have had 3 - yes I said that right, 3 recruiters reaching out to me to see if I want to do contract work for their client ADP through March of next year. Guess who could give a $hit? ADP I would like to let you know something: go eff yourself.

I am up to 5 recruiters now who have reached out to me to see if I want to do contract work for ADP through March.

ADP - are you kidding me? Do you really think that I would want to help you after you laid me off?

I know what the work environment is like and would never willingly put myself through hell again. It is such an awful work environment and management is beyond incompetent and the c-suite excecutives only care about their stock value.

S--- it ADP.

Ha! You've only had 3? I've had like 7! I've played out the conversations with a few of these contract firms and discussed what my rate would be. I was told they're looking for at least 80 people in implementations alone. When I told them what I wanted as an hourly rate (which was not unreasonable; I'm getting it from other clients I'm now consulting with) the firm actually laughed and said "no, my client is cheap. They'd never pay that much. The most I could get you is $90/hr". I don't even entertain the calls anymore.

ERP taken, I would NEVER return to ADP. Anyone that goes back must have a few screws loose. They work you like a DOG and then put you out to pasture....screw ADP and all the liars in the TOP MGMT arena.

They must be pretty desperate to think that someone who was laid off would come back to work for them!! It looks like their bet of hiring cheap labor isn’t working out too well for them. So sad!

Much cheaper to add them as a contractor than a FTE

Do you blame them. Why would they come back. ADP screwed them

Too many associates have been laid off for comfort. It has been a complete fiasco. Now they have to try to get the laid off people to come back as contractors. Most won't.
