Everything is fine now.

A judge would likely nullify any lease agreements during a bankruptcy. What's left if no real estate? Kenmore, diehard and ship? Is that and an average sale price of 50% on remaining merchandise worth 5.5 billion?

It'd be cheaper to buy the good bits from the rubble and not be tied to the pension fund

It's game over! The stock price has to do with day traders. Monday it will stop trading. All assets will be liquidated. Done by around the end of the year.

On the plus side the open stores will actually see traffic this Christmas because everyone will be looking for those liquidation "bargains."

It's only until Christmas. And I doubt anyone is going to buy us after that.

One assumes "buy some stores" means the real estate. Cause the banks are drunk if they think someone will buy the "business."
