Supervalu associate here, what’s to be expected with the new “merger”? How is your standard/cases per hour? Do you have multiple areas of selection (break pack or full case items)? How many hours do you work per week and is it the ‘norm’? Do you have a point system if you call in/leave early? If so how is it broken down? For those with a union facility; Is a union hurting you or helping you when engaging with management? How is the pay scale? Do you make more if you know multiple jobs? Any information that you think is relative please post it. As always, we’re in an “information drought”, but the deal looks as though it is going to go through so we’d like to not be blind-sided by surprises as much as possible. Thanks in advance.

Hey at UNFI our top rate is 18.50 which is good money, the standard is extremely hard they raise it every week to keep us going faster and faster but I do it. They like to keep the old guys on selection picking 100% on the vocollect. We have a lot of full pallet picks that the old guys usually get. The easiest to pick is in the freezer at UNFI most people can't pick 100% due to them turning up the times every week .
