Follow the process! I can't tell you how many times I've heard that.

In this company,

Process TRUMPS Product!

They've got it backward. Process has to adapt to product.

Process is the #1 problem in this company. It has been and remains broken. It is so complicated it is disfunctional. It is the ultimate barrier to getting things done.

It is too complicated to understand as a means to fix.

The only solution is to throw it out and start anew.

Blackstone doesn't care about the organization or process. They have examined the assets and plan to monetize them. Refinitiv is being broken up and sold. If they wanted to fix the organization they'd have partnered with McKinsey. But wait, isn't the President from there? Guess they already tried that...
