It is the right thing to do. The shame is, they should have done that 15 years ago. They should have sold the real estate, and used the proceeds to build the small format stores in the neighborhoods where the customer lives.
Instead, the capital funds were squandered on stock buybacks. What a waste of 15 years.
If you worked at corporate, you would know the original poster is right about the small format stores.
