Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

FXall to be sold soon!

Could be as early as next month for around $3B! Heard it from senior FXall managers who are helping with the sale. BS is not wasting time selling valuable assets then whatever left from Refinitiv. It’s clear that this is not a long term play but rather 3-5 turnaround. Next lay-off waves are going to be bigger especially from non profitable depts.

FXall 3B, Tradeweb 55% for 2B too attractive to say no..... given said that high current liabilities and enormous gearing will spare no mercy. Hopes there is plan B ...

Heard BS is also looking to replace D Craig but got turned down by few CEOs such as Xavier Rolet (former CEO of LSE). I’m sure his days are also numbered and It’s BS folks who are currently running the show. He has no say!

If true that'll be the end of Craig. He's quoted in the FT as saying why would they want to sell some of their best assets I.e. FXall and Tradeweb.

I hope it does get divested. Okay he doesn't need the money but his reputation and creditibilty will be in tatters. That is all he cares about.
