Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Lowes making positive changes and staffing up. Best to jump now.

Since all the retail employees will probably be laid off by February 15, now is the time to get out there ahead of the curve and find your next gig. Everybody will be hiring seasonal, which may turn into permanent. Costco, Home Depot, etc.

Lowes in particular is beefing up, but interviews are starting as soon as next month.

This could be a natural transition for some people. One of our L&G people went there awhile ago and she really likes it. I see her when I SHOP at Lowe's because the prices are better than Sears.
