What was expected, Gdynia helpdesk (russian, german frontline) will be fired. Overall 80 positions are going to be closed, but around 100 positions will be opened instead (customer admin from Geneva etc.)

It will be hard for Refinitiv to find around 100 new people in Gdynia. The job market is a though one in this area.
I work in Customer Admin center located in Buenos Aires. We are 10 people (who needed to have 5 more but the company refused to help us with this). We will be laid off between July and September. They will be opening a new center in Costa Rica and they want us to relocate without listening to the offer first. We were insulted when this was informed to each of us separately and didn't allow to comment with our partners. Plus, customer support center in Buenos Aires was laid off too. We have no TAMs in LATAM South, most of the AMs were laid off, so this doesn't let us work properly. We support GTM in all LATAM, including Brazil, so I don't know how the hell the region is going to survive (we have one less member on the team who was let go a week ago) if they pretend us to teach the new people from Costa Rica.
Was he "INCREDIBLY EXCITED" about the 100 new positions...
It was announced by Tom Frossell during townhall in Gdynia. And 100 new positions are for Gdynia all site (not only Customer Administration roles)
Where does this information come from? Specifically relating to the 100 new positions opening in customer admin.
Probably it’ll be end of Q1 2019, but it is subject to consulations. Official notifications will be issued since 12 till 16th November
I'm so, so sorry.
When is the exit planned for? Some of us in Geneva will have decent transition periods. Make sure you get a good few months at least so you can figure out your personal next steps!
That's shocking. I guess we really don't care about supporting our customers in local language at all.
Wrexham says hello.
Well.. in the end only Geneva received the worst treatment
whats customer admin?
logic?
