Any fellow wireline employees hear any information on when we’ll hear if we were accepted? I’m reading though the offer and the FAQ’s state our last day of work would be 10-27 and terminated as of 10-28. Is that accurate?

No one in my office has heard either way.
UUY what a ridiculous premise. They have no capital for building out what area they currently have in a proper manner let alone purchase yet more area. Take a look at their annual report. You are dreaming. The holding and purchase of franchise territory is only for those with deep pockets. The cost of entry is very dear that is why there are so few players.

I heard that there is another eisp coming out soon for outside techs. Supposed to be widespread as they want to get rid of some associates after the management package is done.
Not everyone got it.Management is supposed to tell you either way.
If they did not I would talk to center manager .

I’m actually out of work on fmla for a minor surgery. I’m due back in 3 weeks so I wonder how I would find out.

That’s pretty c-appy if they don’t tell you that it was denied.
Asked my CCM earlier was told they didn’t have the list yet. About half an hour ago overheard someone got informed. Asked a supervisor said “Everyone that is getting it has been told” and their last day is Friday. I haven’t been told anything, yes or no... So much for all of us getting it!
I just heard one office just one person got it .My office no ones been told yet.
Supposedly we will know by the end of the week. I heard both. 2-3 people per office, similar to the last buy out, but then also hearing everyone will get it... the waiting game is a pain in the a—.
From what I was told, each office is only giving a few approvals. Some offices are limited to 2 or 3 people. I’m not sure when / how you are notified. I imagine it would be soon.
You are all gonna get it , just s---s for you guys that they will stagger it . You may not leave until next year some time . After that , VZ will probably become part of google
Last time they offered one I know management pulled you in and said hey you got it or hey you didn’t but I can’t remember how long that took.
