Do we loose sick time when taking severance

Sick hours can only be used to care for a family member. Also all your PTO must be used before you can use any of that sick time. All your PTO also has to be used before you can use any personal hours you had. Sick time and personal hours are not paid out if you leave just PTO.
You can not touch any of your old personal time until your new bucket is empty then you can use it. Your old sick time you cannot use for yourself it has to be a family member and you can only use 80 hours of it at a time.
Can ANYONE explain what that previous time before the PTO buckets can be used for? No one seems to be able to answer.
If you are talking old school sick time before PTO buckets, then yes. You lose it upon separation from the company.
