I heard that some people are being let go this month in the US ? Can anyone confirm ? Or is it just natural attrition.

@VOODfnk-4ovt - lie, cheat, steal, and shoot some buffalo illegally like JH did.
Where do I sign up for this gig ?
Remember that Quest is being run by Attachmate alum. Their "business model" is sell assets, cut headcount and sell it off to the next s---er. There are a few of these "management teams" out there and they rotate between s---er companies and get rich doing it. Great gig if you can get it. Integrity and principles not required.
"The pie (cake) is a lie" ??
Quest is so irrelevant now . Funny.
It's also now late to try and sell pieces of the pie …
Celt72 - Execs need someone to keep them misinformed about how wonderfuleverything is in the trenches. People that have been there for > 10 years should be selected first , as they are mostly dead wood, clinging to pay cheques and hoping for a payoff. Hopefully you aren't one of them.
Hopefully some long overdue culling of the middle management layer this time and not support teams (again). How do the middle layer who produce the least and earn more seem to suffer the least in every round of layoffs. Do the execs not realise how expendable some of the middle management are?
Sorry to hear that. Genuinely sorry.
They again made numbers on a wing and a prayer (several large contracts at the last min) so the business model still isn't working. That leaves two choices - grow revenue or cut costs. Revenue is static or declining so cost cutting is the only option. Last year, they sold all the buildings and anything that wasn't nailed down along with rolling layoffs. All that's left is layoffs now. Keep that resume up to date for it's only a matter of time.
The layoffs have begun and will impact a significant part of the company.
God bless
