Blaming the media

We received a short email 2 days after the layoffs from a senior manager which blamed the media for all the speculation. It did nothing to reassure us or address our former colleagues and friends. It was clearly not the plan to share the news, it was a response to news reports and forums like this. The USB response was weak.

We sent out a colleague’s bio to clients for an upcoming seminar—then found out he was let go.

They pride themselves on ‘open and honest communication’ until it doesn’t benefit them. These actions are not consistent with a world class organization. We are all questioning our future with this company as employees and customers.
