Agreed. Its not the job, its all the negativity from frazzled co-workers that makes this job impossible. Get rid of them and everything becomes simple

Rigged audit system LOL because we don’t have audits to meet government requirements or anything.... please do the company and your coworkers a favor and find a role at a company you like.

I agree with the poster who states that telephonic role is difficult. I would say that between the non stop calls, ridiculous metrics, knowledge of voluminous amounts of material expected, non stop surveillance, and nit picky / most likely rigged audit system that this is a job to be avoided. It could be said that this job role was written with the meme in mind "Why be difficult, when with a little effort you can be impossible?"

Thank you!! This is so very true! There are many people who think this is a cake easy job and don’t feel they have to work AT WORK! Many are not able to handle the needs of the role and need to do some soul searching and move to a job that fits their needs.

Original poster, please don't be alarmed by previous poster comments. The truth is not everyone is cut out for this position. SNP does have a lot of rules, the name Special Needs Plans kind of speaks for itself and CMS does put a lot of expectations around the quality of care we are expected to provide. If you're there for the right reasons, organized open to learning new things you'll do just fine. I'll admit I struggled at first, there's a lot to learn and change is frequent. I was part of a team that struggled and there were several unhappy, negative people I worked with who complained all day long. All that negativity really got to me but once I tuned them out and focused on what I needed to do I started doing better. I'm glad you're open to trying it out here in SNP and I hope you stay.

Sorry to Say the job is very difficult. It’s non stop and the documentation is crazy and never good enough. Expectations are overwhelming. You literally are chained to your desk the entire day trying to make metrics that are way too high. Have been trying to get out and will be leaving as soon as I can. Get out if you can.

SNP work varies. Managed and dialer are different hours and work. Most all work is between 8-6 est. lots of rules and regulations and resources to keep up with for compliance.
