IF there is consideration to close the San Diego office, it could take years. I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Lowell has over 300 people on various projects - some of them key future products along with continuing Verizon development (which brings in significant revenue). There is still a lot of CPE work in Lowell and that may be a concern. Also a good opportunity for Picard to cash out and retire, so Lowell could certainly be downsized and move to CommScope location in nearby Chelmsford on Apollo Drive (remember the good old days when MA was booming with Wang, Apollo, DEC...sigh). San Diego is hovering around 100 people and lots of CPE - much more likely to close. The only thing we can bet on is that Bruce and Sr. Mgmt will walk away with boatloads of cash and other employees will not.
