Does anyone know why the PTCs from market 31 and 85 were eliminated first? Are they test markets? Are more PtC to be eliminated?
Somebody asked this in another thread a day or two ago but there was no answer. I'm hoping somebody will see it here and provide an answer.
Market 31 is in ohio and we did lose our ptc..dec 7 to be last day of taking severance
Why would you stay if they eliminated your position. So if it does not work out your on stand bye. This is like a slap in the face move on to a company that will value you!
We know this is going to happen , along with other positions . If you see changes in your work responsibilities... such as doing other things that are not in your job siscription, schedule changing .....then it’s just a matter of time for you

Ohio PTC have until Dec 7. They are not to be doing anything PTC related at all. They were given 45 days. Ours is leaving with package.
What do you need to verify? It happened and it's going to happen everywhere soon. The clubs should not be bothered with phone calls from others being nosey. I say you have until February to prepare yourself.
Ohio....PTCs still work there. Just not in there PTC role. They are testing how well the club manages without a PTC.
Can anyone be more specific and inform us of who matket 31 and 85 are? I know someone said they called and verified with Baltimore and Texas was mentioned but could qe be more specific. This way people cancall and verify for themself? Just saying?
Well in Puerto Rico we do have a ptc and a Human resources manager IN EVERY CLUB. I dont understand why US doesnt have a people manager. Here we received the news of the new system we will use to hire, award and evaluate our associates. The question is what will be the role of the people manager and ptc?!
It's definitely a test. You can expect the rest to follow. They are not going to eliminate a couple and leave the rest. Next time I bet it will be everyone.
No responses yet. Called a Baltimore location to verify and it’s true slowly but surely all PTCs will be eliminated. There are other warehouse retailers that have eliminated their HR. Maybe if you speak with a mgr they could or will inform you if they are a test market. I believe Texas is and I believe theirs was eliminated as well
