So sad. The Hackensack, NJ store has been there since 1930’s. Very nice stand alone store in downtown area. I used to shop there with my mom as a child.

Hang on. This may be presumptuous. This list may have been sourced from the ORIGINAL bankruptcy filing. I am checking the current docket and I see no formal submission of a phase two store closing list that is due by 11/1. These stores on the bankruptcy documents were under evaluation, not closed (yet).

A link to a source is needed to confirm this.

I think this information is from Document #7 and is listed as "Designated" stores in the BK documentation. Probably a very good guess given the language of the document regarding these stores.
