BoD needs to fire phony Mary Barra. How can GM have the need to lose more than a third of their employees? Overhiring? Poor products? Missed markets? This announcement will certainly cause turmoil among the employees. Lots of backstabbing. Return of ageism. Many older employees will suddenly go from "prized possession status" to "no longer needed".

Certainly executive mgmt has played a role in poor decision making, thereby setting the company back from reaching healthy goals. Dedicated workers whose only fault was that they did their job will pay the price.
