I have talked to several people from Cisco who were laid off after returning from FMLA... Anyone else? Maybe it is just isolated... thoughts?

They usually wait until you are off medical leave. But once off.. little time is wasted..
The issue of being laid off after FMLA is actually pretty benign, but no less troubling for the affected employee.
Legally, you can't lay off someone who is on leave, so if they were "on the list" but were on leave, then their LR is deferred until they return to active status.
Again, not pleasant for the individual, but not as evil as it seems on the surface.
after sucicides from being stressed and not sure about future, they have been offering mental health asistance to anyone who complains as cya. yes they caused it.
mentally sick people are not good for any company. they are toxic and create a hostile work environment.
I am aware of two individuals in past with medical issues and they were laid off.
