And continue to receive same pay for it? I don't know what's going to happen if they lay off even more people. We are stretched thin as it is, any more people get cut and work simply won't get done.
We are not robots. Sometimes I feel like those on top don't understand that. They just want to milk as much as they can from us for as little money as possible.
Until we all break and can't do anything anymore. And then they are screwed.

That's part of the general strategy. Push you beyond your limits until you quit instead of being involuntarily terminated.

Nope, they will never be screwed and they are probably already salivating about the size of their Christmas bonuses as we speak. I was laid off this week, more are coming. Use this time to get things in order. I cleaned out my PC last August and thank goodness I did because the speed at which they confiscated my laptop was very fast. Start bringing non-essential things home or throwing out stuff you don't need. All my drawers were empty when the axe fell.
