I think store managers and Adam and regional managers will have the hardest time to find a job as most of those positions at the competitors are already filled!
They are only sticking it out with Sears/Kmart to make sure they can collect unemployment..their severance is gone now that Sears/Kmart is in ch11..
The biggest dogs at the top already make over a million a year so they probably have large amounts of cash saved for when their gig ends and I'm sure all of them will be getting something out of staying on..unlike the actual workers, especially part timers will get nothing , not even unemployment because of the way hours have been cut so bad
After 12 years as a part timer I'm getting out and was surprised at getting the first job I applied for and will start out with a higher hourly rate! I am surprised because I am over 65!
So there is hope and less questioning why you're leaving because everyone knows the sears/kmart ship is sinking
