There is so much chatter about the buyout at the other Verizon site, but not here. Which I find strange since most people who seem to be in the know keep saying that everybody will be affected, Wireless included.
Did everybody here decide collectively this is a rumor? Or somebody knows something?

600 people were let go at Verizon wireless yesterday. They have several months left to work while Verizon finished the 2 facilities in Cary, N.C. and Texas. All let go were Coordinator of Business Sales, mostly women over 40.
They keep laying off and dumping the work on those left over. Tired of being overworked and underappreciated.
I am hearing of this all over wireless....and know a number of people who will jump at it.
appears to be another reorganization B2B has jobs leaving certain locations and those folks are being notified to move, look for job within VZW or go.
And yes confirmed rumor as usual
I think people simply forget Wireless has its own sub-forum.
