Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Oracle is the new Enron?

Stock being propped up by buybacks?

What percentage of shares need to be held outside the company for the stock to be considered a Publicly Traded Company?

Where are we currently at?

Perhaps Oracle will be private at some point in the future to avoid headache of reporting number to Wall Street

Announced today, S&P lowers Oracle's outlook to NEGATIVE from Stable because of aggressive BUYBACKS, minimal top line growth and a net cash position that was $14 Billion 12 months ago, but now down to only $2 Billion. LE, MH, SC, CW, DD, TK and The Board of Directors should all be fired so Oracle can start over and possibly have a future.

If you own shares, sell them to ORCL. Let them be the bagholders of their own stock. Only existing shareholders get scre wed for not selling.

$10B in stock buybacks per Q ends in FY20 Q3. So look for a stock tank on 4/1/19.

Might even be more accelerated with $12-15B per Q.

50 Million shares traded...well above the average of 18M. Something is going on here because at least 25M shares traded after the market closed. I wouldn't be surprised if they were buying all of the plaintiff's shares as part of a settlement agreement. Enjoy your weekend LE, SC and MH...
