The day the "minions" don't show up to work in the stores, that place is toast. People can find other jobs. Walmart needs them more than they need Walmart. Never forget that fact.

HO monitors this site frequently and has a lot of people posting propaganda here to make everything look like it's just one big happy party for Walmart associates.
Look at just about any thread, and you'll see their comments. Some are done by an outside PR agency, that you can tell don't know what they're talking about.

I’m okay with wearing vests but they are ugly. The UKv version of Walmart (ASDA) has better looking gear.
Also the “proud Walmart associate” on the vestsand hats is b---s--- advertising/PR. I’m not proud to work at WM. I work cuz it’s a steady 40 hrs at a good pay for retail. The proud part is a lie. Don’t try to force me to advertise false opinions to customers/shareholders. Want me to be proud? Change to ugly vest to something less birth control-ish. Raise the base pay to meet or beat Target. Stop the Kim jung un style worship of Walton. Dump to stupid DJ’s and go to satellite radio. I don’t need cackling DJ’s(a former Co and a former HO associate winning a contest ahead of hourly associates), and reminding me I’m at Walmart all day. I already know I Amat Walmart. And most of the stores inhabitants are customers, why are the DJ’s talking to employees or making it seem like some big house party. Lord.

I'm confused. Did the dress code change again? I haven't heard anything. We wear whatever we want but have to wear a vest. The yellow vests are for the people at the door and CSM'S. Is this changing again?

After all my (self imposed) years of toiling for that p--p pit, I'm convinced those hourly employee uniforms are a deliberately crafted ploy to psychologically beat the help to their knees------by breaking their spirits at having to wear the most demeaning, self-pride robbing clownish outfits the company could conjur up.
And meanwhile management gets to wear basically what ever they want.
They aren’t hip or stylish that’s for sure!
