I don't think he is going to any other company. Just resigned.
There was a rumor a while back that TK was interviewing somewhere. Maybe he's been looking and no one will hire him. Bad reputation.
One of the good guys?!?!?! I don’t know what’s that thing you are smoking but I sure want some!
One of the Oracle good guys. RIP, TK.
What company is he going to and will then f-ck it up?
Yes, may be charges against all.... but maybe one of them might provide evidence against the others to get out of jail free.
"It all depends on what charges they might bring against TK."
If the SEC can bring up charges against TK, they can bring them against LE and Co.
TK moving out will not make any difference to the company. Because during his 2 decade stay at oracle he has brought many dummy people to the high position they are sufficient to spoil the company. Targeting 2 person like TK and AZ will not improve the company.
This is a reality. The company is full of scumbags and incompetent management. There is no way to dig a way out of that. The company is going down big time. May not be huge layoffs immediately, but I am betting there will be some big layoffs at some point, possibly after they run out of money to prop the stock up and have nothing else they can do.
Non-disclosures won’t protect TK from Regulatory investigations. House of cards...
It all depends on what charges they might bring against TK. He might talk and give up a lot of money to avoid to jail. I know this is wishful thinking on my part, but one can only hope that justice is around the corner somewhere.

Anyone who thinks that TK will testify against O is suffering from wishful thinking. He no doubt had to sign all sorts of non disclosures as he rose through the ranks and his golden parachute is no doubt contingent on keeping his mouth shut.
yes the tk junior guy only has a little over 500 people, the bulk of the 37K are under SM & DJ.
One quick look at Aria and it should be clear that the business insider article is garbage. The bulk of TK’s org went under DJ, SM and ES.
From www.businessinsider.com/oracle-put-a-guy-from-microsoft-in-charge-of-cloud-for-now-source-says-2018-9
In a surprise to no one, Oracle has announced on Friday that its longtime exec in charge of cloud has indeed resigned.
A source tells Business Insider that a longtime Microsoft engineer exec, who joined Oracle only months ago, is taking over many of his responsibilities.
After weeks of saying that longtime Oracle exec TK was taking some much deserved time off and was "expected" back, Oracle on Friday announced that TK has resigned.
We understand that last week, Oracle elevated T.K. Anand to take over many of Kurian's responsibilities, telling employees at the time that his promotion was temporary until Kurian came back. Oracle declined comment on Anand's ongoing role at the company so it's not clear if he's permanently got the job or is just on trial.

CB in NA CSM will be departing in November. Per an agreement made with MH and CR.
Give it time boys and girls. TK just cut a deal to save his sorry p--per.
And not a minute too late...
If they were going to go after LE and Co, it would have happened already. Look at how little time elapsed between Musk saying he was taking Tesla private and the SEC falling all over him like a pile of bricks.
TK not in system. His name is not there.
This is so perfect and expected. LE, MH, SC and the Board are circling the drain. The NOOSE is tightening and the regulators should be closing IN soon just like they did with Elon Musk. TK is ratting out the D-bags and cut a deal to save his sorry A_S.
@VoLBIAL-rgn (2) is NOT going to happen. Too little, tooooooooooooooo late. Don't hold your breath waiting for the recovery.
It's about time!
Not much consolation for employees or shateholders but in 5-10 years will be great Harvard Business School case study...either (1) what happens when management is too insular or (2) greatest (cloud) comeback...
Well, this confirms the info here that his duties were redistributed among his peers. Must have been awkward with LE, who is so far into his own little bubble that he can no longer understand or accept an idea that could save this looming Cloud disaster.
