Independent retailers will go last. Less product or skus and routes will need to be purchased back. Heard that from pepp farm regional manager.

Fake News! Jyve doesn't do interviews. You apply online and they do a background check. It's like Uber! These elves never go away. We're still here! We're not Keebler!

Looks like Jyve is a independent 3rd party merchandising company. Basacilly like Uber for merchandising. Sign up online and take a job when your available. Wouldn't surprise me to see Nabisco switch to them. They're doing Kehe and some other thing's currently.

Jyve Corporation. They're in Michigan currently. Google "Jyve Corporation". You'll learn more about them. 3rd party merchandising company.

Don't listen to the Canadian Nabisco cheerleader!! DSD will be ending! Everything will be going 3rd party. Union's are going extinct just like DSD. It's all about cost cutting and margins for store's and consumers

DSD isn’t going away... BUT I was just told Ontario,Ca warehouse is going to close and orders will be pulled and delivered by NON union employees (@ $15hr) 3rd party logistics company. Half of the stuff on here is real and the other half is fake. In the end Mondelez wants to break the union.

2020 isn't a few more years. It's a year. I've seen on here something about contracts till 2020. True? I don't know. If so, this would start winding down in a few months. They wouldn't just pull the plug, it would be gradual, systematic to be as smooth as possible. Nabisco is not too big for warehouse. Sure, there will be alot of sku extensions that won't make the cut. Some of them aren't worth the cost of the change over at the bakery. Almost all growth will happen outside N.A. unless there is acquisitions. The only thing that matters to a corporation is the bottom line.

I love how this site is barely getting any new posts any more about this. It's obvious we will be here for a few more years and all you negative people thought it would of been announced by now. We are not even close to a announcement yet of any kind. Business as usual until 2020 then we will see.

Yep! Same here in the mid west. Companies would have to buy the IO out. They own their routes. I don't see that happening. Nabisco has the same structure as Keebler. We can easily go warehouse. Don't kid yourselves! It's coming for us way sooner than for the independent operators

Here in the northeast, Pepperidge Farm routes are independently owned. Campbell's would have to buy out that portion on the route to go warehouse. that would certainly be a large class action suit, because that would devalue the routes considerably. It is a much different case with Kelloggs and NBC.

Walmart has a similar chat room kind of like this. Think it was on reddit if I remember right. I googled "is walmart getting rid of DSD" and it was an option. One of them said on there that walmart's goal is to get rid of all national and regional vendors and get them through their warehouse. They have been trying to get trucks out of their lots for quite some time. Only small, local stuff for dsd. I would think short life items like dairy, ect.

Like the last person said fake news!! Your theory makes no sense. Hostess-Wonder and Keebler/Kelloggs exited DSD and they weren't independent operators. I would actually think the opposite. Independens will survive over company employees. They have little to no overhead. IO pay for everything to where they can compete price wise to retailers. Mondelez will exit when the contracts are up. We're not staying in DSD to"tweak" orders and take pictures all day. Only way Mondelez can compete is to get rid of us like Keebler did.
