Noble signs the Egypt deal

Don’t see anybody posting this, so just in case somebody missed it: negotiations are finally over. Noble signed multiple deals to support natural gas delivery from Leviathan and Tamar fieldes to Egypt through existing infrastructure.

Not exactly a big news, but if the Leviathan and Tamar fields start delivering in 2019, as they expect they would, maybe it won't be too long before we start to see some benefit from this deal.

All the details about the signed deals are in the link:

So? It’s only a gas contract and Noble’s handling of Leviathan has hardly been something to brag about. Leviathan was discovered in 2010 and still won’t produce revenue for another year.

Compare that to ENI’s Zohr field. It was discovered 5 years after Leviathan, is twice the size and has been producing since last year. That’s nine years from discovery to production for Noble and two for ENI.

Seven years, twice the volumes. That’s the difference between a well managed company and Noble.

If your intent was to promote Noble stock think again. It’s ENI you should be pushing.
