Don't see much on these boards about the reps in the call centers. I know the push is HBA. But will reps taking calls on the wireless side get a severance offer?

You talking about corporate centers being closed or just vendor centers? Been concerned about the future and of course you can’t get an answer from any single one of your superiors.
Our office is located in the same building as one of the customer call centers. Part of the building was leased by Verizon two years ago. They went all out with rebuilding and remodeling the facilities to the new tenant's standards. Lately though I am seeing less and less of the employees. Turns out most are home based now. Not sure what will happen to the rest once the lease is up.
Bleak, start looking for a better job.
Closing centers soon....hoping before the end of the year.
packages geared for mgmt and high skill workers. call center workers will have hba option and then rebadge or rif. no longer cost benefit for vz to have call center reps inhouse. should happen pretty soon. salary transfer to another company results in large savings.
