How about we offload AOL, Yahoo and all the other ridiculous companies that we dump d billions into. Another smart move was buying out our shares from Vodaphone! Yes let’s take on billions of dollars of debt all within a very short period of time and expect everything to work out! Thank you Lowell for your leadership, leading us right off a cliff and you coast off into retirement and turn the helm over to Hans to fire all of the people that made this company what it is! Like I have always said no matter how loyal you are and how hard you work you are nothing more than a number! Just think of all the jobs going to India and God knows where else while the people that built this company here in the US take a pitiful severance package!

You need to check your sources...The tax cuts (giving VZ another $4B+ in cash) are perfect times to make drastic cuts and improve standings with Wall St & shareholders. Short cash grab on stocks.
Those tax cuts never trickle down like they are supposed to. They lead to downsizing and off shoring so Corps can make more money.
Also- this current administration is driving jobs out of USA bc of all the tariff nonsense etc. Harley, Cartier, Ford etc is probably not far behind.
and will continue to outsource until there is no longer a financial incentive to do so.
You better check your carrier choice. They all outsource to foreign companies.
It is amazing how leadership who makes bad bets stay on, but quality workers who add real value get put on the chopping block. No accountability at the C suite level.
Verizon Wireless to me just proved that they dont care about the American people and their families by making a deal with a foreign company to cut costs. Dont see top management taking any kind of cuts to help the company. Trump is trying to keep jobs here and Verizon wireless does a 180 on what the whole country is trying to prevent...job loss. Since Verizon Wireless what to send this business to india then verizon wireless can market india to support their customer base. I am cancelling my verizon cell service and going to another carrier that employs US citizens. I am only 1 person but everyone else out there spreads the word to switch carriers hopefully this will help the jobs stay in the US. If it does not save the jobs from going we should make Verizon Wireless suffer for their decision so other companies in the future will think twice.
