Cisco as we know it died on November 5th with Maria’s message that this would be the biggest event in 34 years of Cisco history.

Hi there,

Before you all get stressed and make assumption like -" IoT is..." please learn what Cisco offers, what Open Positions there are etc. Cisco CEC (intranet) is full of all the details, just learn how to use it.

Good luck to all that were impacted (I am still waiting for EMAER Hit- may be gone either) and those who stay: become worth this company, and get all the skills needed to be smarter then people we do not see in the functions they have and take it over...

in IoT area Cisco is hiring- maybe Jasper is reduced, but looks like there still have some plan ;)

xxx

There are a few stories. Here's another one: https://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2018/11/06/cisco-layoffs-executive-departures-csco.html

Is this true though? That's it's confined primarily to HQ? Because I heard it's not.
