These templates are based upon how well the test clubs did or didn’t do with the time frames, amount of work, when they should be there etc etc
Sorry it’s not about you. It just business. Don’t take it personal. It should really happened long ago but unfortunately many things areas just got overlooked now it just seems like a lot. Every few months displacements etc. everyone’s turn will come at some point and maybe a few times it’s just business.
who came up with this "template"????? Probably some jackass in Bentonville who has never worked in the backroom. Why is it so difficult for clubs to make their own decisions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why must they always have to copy one another?????????????? This schedule template is absolutely ridiculous. It is amazing when the CM tells the backroom associates what is expected of them concerning their job duties and schedule, BUT, not one of the club's managers know how to do anything in the backroom. This way of managing boggles the mind, respect for the individual, should be called DISRESPECT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@1rns you work with a set schedule for 20+ years, have you life set up to work with that schedule and then have it suddenly changed up and different. I don't care who you are, it will be tough to decide if you want it and why it wasn't just left the same. They are making it harder on us with cutting how many hours we get in the backroom. If you haven't been in the situation or can relate in anyway then zip it. You sound like a fool.
What happens when 1FT is on vacation the 2FT will have to cover both areas this will be hard to do.
I love listening to you people complain about your schedules. You get paid to work. You work what your scheduled. It's that simple. Why complain? Hopefully most of you are leaving the company. Cry babies
Our club was told 2 Ft one would be M-F 5-1:30 the other would be Tu-Sa 5-1:30. Those hours won’t work with our club because most days Fedex ground doesn’t get there till 1:30 or after.
needs of the business...hahahahahhahaha..all that means is the schedule will be what whatever the manager wants NOT NEEDS..most manages are not business literate so have no idea what the needs of the business are...they only know how to pad the schedule for the days and times they are there so there are more bodies to do work the manager is too lazy or stupid to do......
But there was a conference call saying it is only a template. Managers can adjust according to the needs of the business.
This is true. My CM showed me the template.
They are losing a lot of long term associates with a lot of knowledge. I believe they are telling other associates that they will work with them. That is not the case in my region. Don Nickens is our DO and he plays by the book. He doesn't take c-ap. If that is what the schedule is supposed to be that is what its going to be
This is false. Our club is running 6 days a week. Not 7 days. Where is that template?
I hope people don't pass up their severance because they think they will get this type schedule. It will be changed up by the CM. I guarantee it. Even if it starts out this way, it will change.
The 2.5 template is what I'm hearing for us as well

Actually they can schedule you however they want according to the needs of the business.
