Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Seeking Alpha Reports, "Juniper Networks tumbles amid Investor Day three-year forecast"

Yikes! Usually the stock gets a boost after Analyst Week. Not Juniper. Here's what SA reported...

"- After very steady price action throughout the day, Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR) has fallen off quickly, down 3.9%.

  • Looking forward, it now sees revenue growth in low single digits over the next three fiscal years, along with high single digit EPS growth over that period, Bloomberg notes.

  • That's coming out of the company's Investor Day, which is nearing the close of its schedule (it's taking place at the NYSE today, starting at 9:55 a.m. and running until 2:15 p.m. ET.).

  • CEO Rami Rahim was scheduled to give a strategy overview and CFO Ken Miller a financial model and outlook, along with overviews of the company's technology, product and go-to-market strategy."

It is really stupid to look at stock price movements in such short duration and jumping to conclusion. JNPR going down is just due to tech stocks correcting. Same goes to folks who claim JNPR stock has done well in last 6 months compared to ANET. While it is true that JNPR has outperformed ANET in last 6 months, it means nothing. Over a longer time duration, ANET has beat JNPR and will beat JNPR even in the future.

Right, let's ignore the fact that entire tech sector went down in last couple of days.

It’s quite simple folks, RR is not a CEO. KM is not a CFO and most and I mean most of the rest of the C-Suit is just spending time pacifying whatever RR wants to hear so they all get their fat paychecks and RSUs to vest. It’s just a matter of time before auditors realize the games being played outside of USGAP and SOX compliance. BOD will have to once again step in and clean house quickly. The reclassification of product classes to make other business units look healthy is against the law and violates many SEC and USGAP rules. Most of the C-Suit executives are busy have exmartial affairs with their coworkers and or admins. HR and RR do nothing about it, no one is held accountable. Crazy place to work

How is it "Doubled in 7 years"? It went as high as $44 in 2011.

Doubled in 7 years. Sure, below S&P but not bad. But yes, anyone buying this stock outside of ESPP is a nitwit.

I’d be happier than a pig in $hit if we grew at low single digits for the next 3 years. But nice try once again with the fake panic, guys.

Ringing the opening bell did not help the stock price at...

It might help if the csuite gets their own bells rung! Stop screwing off and get back to work Juniper Networks.

The way I interpret this is that the CMO, MM and his team didn't do a good enough job preparing RR and his c-suite to face the analysts.

As expected, another poor performance from the marketing team that fails to deliver every time.
