How do those of us who still work for Cisco find a way to legally put the ELT on blast and get them to respond to why so many layoffs? Just how Google did the walkout. Obviously the situation is different. Still it would be nice to get the ELT to find other ways to save like cutting back on their salaries and bonuses instead of letting good folks go. Probably just a pipe dream but still would be nice to have them answer for their actions.

Many of the job openings are just for collecting resumes. No budget allocated to the role.
@W3w9pZo-doa Are you being sarcastic? There's no other reason to lay people off - they could have had people transfer into all of these mythical open positions. They constantly open and close said positions - it's a face-saving tactic as well as good PR. And many of those positions are over seas, or they already know who they want and it's only open because they have to.
As bad as JC was, it honestly hurt him to cut people.
The only think Cisco ELT fears is negative media attention and so far they have done a great job at not having that happen.
grow a set and send and email to elt group mailer and ask
make sure to cc employee group mailer.
@1hpl if the media noticed, what would the media do about it? cisco is not a govt department, it can chop as many heads as necessary to achieve its business goals.
Meanwhile Cisco has practically closed its doors to several thousand employees in one quick shot.
The media failed to notice since one one entire team of 300 is all it mentions and it was plagiarized at that.
150K, mine.
technically, the budget is still the same. EVP CX compensation package = $50 million -> eliminate 400-500 roles in CX
Cisco not cost saving? From my experience it's all they know, managers and senior "leadership" who know the cost of everything but the value of nothing.
Did you watch the Beat? Didn’t you hear them outright say this Is NOT a cost savings exercise. This is a restructuring we have 3,000 open positions and managers looking for good people, apply
Hi, this is Chuck. No way I will cut my salary even by a penny. If any of you folks try to do a google-like walkout, that will be the last day you will ever work at Cisco. Mark my words.
I monitor this site regularly with the help of 4 employees. Just make sure you don't get caught bad mouthing Cisco or me. More LRs on the way.
Peace out.
