Someone has said total employees for wireless and wireline is 94k. Is it safe to say if there are 94k Verizon wireless and landline employees (not counting OATH and other brands) and the buyout was offered to 44k of these, with app 10k taking the offer, does that mean we lost 10% of the wireline / wireless business?

The question that was asked was how many wireless and wireline management employees there are. That total is approx 94k and the 44k who were offered the VSP were part of that total. 94K does not include Oath, International or Union employees. So it's not ridiculous.
By 2022, Verizon will have under 100,000 total employees.
Look at the financials and look at Hans' track record.
Not sure where this 94k came from, but it's ridiculous.
According to this article: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-verizon-layoffs/verizon-takes-billions-in-charges-for-oath-voluntary-buyouts-idUSKBN1OA1FH, Verizon had 152,300 employees as of 9/30/18; making 10,400 only 6.8%.
Hans claims the 10.4k represents "over 90%" of the 44k that applied but, those numbers cannot be validated and do not feel very real based on the significant number of denials.
Everyone can rest assured additional RIFs are in the near future.
