...wonder what the outcome, if any, will be, as all DL's, and Regionals, hear the uproar at the Store levels to the announcement that arrived Monday, in the Hub, and not even a DL call beforehand. to prepare us. That is what I call a 100% lack of Leadership from the Field!

DL’s are puppets just like the rest of us. RD’s are as well. Everyone follows the totem pole of orders. Everyone is giving DL’s too mcuch clout. They take orders and follow direction and demand and expectations like anyone else. They don’t make descisions or use their brain. They do what they are told to do if they want their jobs as is expected from everyone
Yes - absolutely frustrated with the lack of transparency and information from above. I’m a DL that is a pharmacist. I’ve learned the front and love the front. We are too tight up front. We are too tight in the Rx. The managers that build a team and hold their team to expectations succeed. I’ll support and go full steam for any of my managers that do the same for their crew.
The DLs have learned the lingo...maybe the budgets were not coming out til 12/14, but you knew the general hours cut and know alot more. Just cant say. Don't expect them to stand up for store/rx mgt, hell regionals and divisions are scared of Larry the Axe.
Front store sales are low because of the high prices. When products are marked up 30 to 50% more than other stores it's hard to compete. The new healthy foods they added is a flop. We are not a health food store or a hospital. We don't even have e a full aisle of 1st aid items. Everything we sell you can pick up cheaper at Walmart. Even gas stations are cheaper than CVS.
Remember the days of stand alone privately owned pharmacies? You could buy or rent medical products. How many are left? Merlo wants to take us back there. They failed. We will fail.

Tell more lies! The DL adjusted all hours in September for each store and budgets were written . The hours and sales and scripts and all passed on to my schedule dept. Those numbers do not just show up all of a sudden people! Your fate is determined in the last quarter of each year for the coming year. What a bunch of d--k heads .
Well, let me say to all of the DL's...….if you didn't know that this was going to happen to your stores, and your Region, wouldn't you question, in your mind, the lack of communication from the top to your position with this Company to you, as a leader?
The kids are the ones who will never know any different that have no problems moving forward. It's the extinct dinosaurs stuck in the past who can't lead the way.
