This was all to be expected as the first real architectural overview driven by JK/RK. Given Intel's penchant for subterfuge over the last several years, the presentations don't make us brim with confidence, but I think you can put a stake in the ground and give those two the benefit of the doubt. Let's see where they are at a year from now - that will show how much, if any, Intel has shifted towards fixing their problems. In the meantime, for you stock traders, it is not yet a screaming BUY.

I've heard there have been lots of changes inside VPG ever since RK came in and MA left.
So Gen11 has double the perf of gen9. Then it's only 50 times slower than competition!
Getting 5% perf bump over Skylake sounds fantastic too. And only 3 years late!
3d stacking means that you can just make a tiny part of the cpu in 10nm and use 14/22nm for the rest and still call it 10nm. Fantastic!
If you feel that way, don't let the door hit you on the way out
Also, die 3D stacking has been touted as the next big thing for at least 5-7 years.
