I know people in B111 who were let go today.
Yes, people are being laid off in Webster & Wilsonville. Five confirmed in IT, Finance & the supplies organization. Projects are being cancelled also. We'll have a complete list by the end of the day.

I just heard all of the fire marshals got laid off today. Doesn't seem like anything has been cancelled.
This thread should be removed since several people have already posted that they personally know people who were let go today (I know of a couple already).
I have never known them to stop layoffs due to media coverage or the holidays. There has been media coverage for layoffs in Webster, even before anyone knew about the layoffs happening.
Being close to the holidays never stopped the big X before. Even before Icahn and John V.

It has been quiet. I've heard of a few, but not the mass layoffs this board was building up.

I personally know of 5 individuals in Webster that were let go this morning.

That is BS. I know of one so far in bldg 207 that just got walked out. More to come I’m sure.
What news coverage? Why not provide a link? It doesn't seem like they would give up taking action in the quarter they want it in for the reasons given.
