Ten Signs Your Job Doesn't Deserve You For Another Year (Forbes)

“1. The people you work for don’t know what you are capable of. You’ve tried to show them, but they’re not interested.

  1. 2018 is almost over, and you have nothing new to add to your resume.

  2. When you kill yourself to complete a project, help a customer out of a jam or take on extra work, your hard work goes unnoticed. Nobody says “Thank you,” much less “Great job!”

  3. You can’t remember the last time you felt excited about your job.

  4. Your intellectual stimulation and creative expression happens outside of work — never on the job.

  5. You are underpaid.

  6. You don’t see a path to grow professionally and/or personally at your current job.

  7. You find yourself biting your lip at work rather than speak your truth, because nobody else speaks up and you don’t want to be labeled a troublemaker. Why suffer in silence for another year?

  8. Sometimes you feel your job is making you less intelligent. You need meaty problems to solve!

  9. When you consult your trusty gut, it says “Why are we still working in this place? Let’s get out of here!”
