Layoffs seem to be a weekly thing now. Am I the only one who's convinced there'll be even more this week?

December is not safe for contractors. I am one and I know there's more. Contracts are not being renewed. Not being actively frog marched "out the door" but just left to expire at midnight 12/31/18.
I also think December is safe. Now watch them prove me wrong.
I haven't heard about any more in December but last week I heard there will be more in January. With the credit rating being downgraded to Junk and the 7% drop for the stock price today I can only guess there may be even more to come.
