Sort of sad to read these posts! Of course it’s business as usual....now! We have not left DSD....yet! It will be business as usual until we are not dsd anymore! Wow, that’s pretty tough to figure out huh? West Chester just doubled the size of the warehouse, think it’s cause dsd is growing??? I bet if you ask your DM he would tell you that! Open your eyes, cannot help to notice the very dramatic changes that are occurring in retail! Unless of course you chose not to see! Oh well!

My Walmart is CAO but I'm still ordering product and merchandising. My delivery is still coming from West Chester. Business as usual. Kroger will be the same way. CAO is just a new system on how we order to make it better for us. That's all! You'll see

Shows how ignorant u are! Kroger has been rolling out CAO for over a year in divisions in Ohio. My stores are all CAO and FACT, all Kroger stores will be CAO by July 2019. Is your WalMart CAO fool? Keep burying your head up you a$$, you are in for a surprise! With mo--ns like you the “One Team” campaign was a big success! Rest of us are a bit smarter!

No wonder things are the way they are, now we got people so delusional they are posting the “what is we buy cheez it’s”! OMG, you are so desperate! In the 20 years I have been here do you know how many brands we have sold off? Snackwells for one. South Beach. There’s a long list. For Kellogg, cheez its are not the biggest part of the portfolio, it’s cereal, they are Kellogg’s after all! They want to focus on cereal, PERIOD!

As far as Mondelez being too big? We are ONLY DSD in the US. A larger portion of our portfolio is already not DSD already. Mondelez has been transitioning to a warehouse model for years. Our retail partners will call the shots, not us! They are focused on their bottom line, not ours! If Kroger took Oreo out of the set, they would not close the Kroger store and same for Wal Mart. It’s not Dirk’s decision, although he too has a financial responsibility to his shareholders, just like the retailers and DSD isn’t something that contributes to that! Period. Quit fooling yourselves and quit allowing DC or your DM to try to convience you otherwise. They have a role in this and that role is to try to maintain status quo until things change. PERIOD.

If wharhouse is the way to go why is Kellogg’s already selling off Keebler because they can’t make it profitable????? Imagine if they sell it off in parts and we buy just the Cheez it Brand. Maybe that is what Mondalez is putting money on the side for!! Listen to the Business News stations and read between the lines!!!

I don't think DSD is completely going away this year. Downsizing is definitely going to happen this year I believe. We will all be phased out by 2020.

You have to be very stupid to think that Mondelez will hire more reps when North America is where there is less profit.. Wal mart is CAO Kroger is going CAO and most of the displays are not sold in. Displays are predetermined .Only full timers and part timers are being hired. Do not put your eggs in one basket and do not make any big purchases

Fake DC knows nothing!! If we are exiting DSD this year we will know soon. Exit will happen after Q1. If not we'll be here till 2020. They won't exit in Q3 or Q4.

We haven’t “heard” either and likely won’t “hear” until they tell us! We 👀 lots of clear signs that an exit from dsd is near. Paranoid? Nope! Responsible? Yes!

Excatly! The previous posts are fake! 3rd party driver's will transport to warehouses. DSD isn't going away anytime soon.

Why do we still need drivers? Product is shipped from the RDC's to the customers warehouses using 3rd party transportation.

They don’t close branches when contracts expire! They have had lots of branch closings. BTW, they will still need drivers, hows the product gonna get to the warehouses? Another interesting fun fact is that drivers are also pickers. All pickers are required to be CDL certified. Val Oswalt made an exemption for WC because they were having a terrible time getting enough people employed at the WC branch so she waived that for WC. If they could not get wnoigh people to staff the branch, do you double the size of it? We all know Mondelez makes stupid decisions but even a decision of that magnitude I’d have to hope was being done for a good reason?

DSD is ending! Mondelez has been preparing for years! Fake news people, put your head back up your a$$ to feel better! Rest of us are smarter than that and pay attention!

Signing a contract means nothing. All they have to do is say "here's your 60 day notice." Dirk said they secured money for severance and asset disposal. If the restructuring that is coming is only going to affect a handful of people they would take it out of the petty cash drawer.

Kellogg's signed or were in the middle of contract negotiations when they pulled the plug. That was clearly negotiating in bad faith and a violation of federal law! So keep on drinking the Kool aid my friend!

Driver's are union. They just signed a 4 year contract. DSD will be around for a while still. We're couple of years away from a full DSD exit

He must not work at WC, I’ve seen it and am getting certified as we speak. I’m a driver and dsd is ending! Any driver with a brain can see this coming.

Talked to a driver today I know very well he has not heard of anything like this....more negative c-ap fake news. DSD is here to stay
